June 17, 2013 - Phase 2 Day 8 Update!
So I must admit - I am the world's WORST!! Blogger!
I made this site hoping it would encourage me to keep up with it. Instead I left town and have been living out of a bag between my boyfriend and my grandmother's houses and not really on the computer. The fact that I don't want either of them to know I have a website doesn't help my blogging efforts since I was with one or both of them for the past few days.
So I started Phase 2 - the 500 calorie a day diet on Monday June 10th. I haven't found eating the 500 calories a day difficult - its making myself eat 5 times a day that I have been having the most trouble with. I stayed on the diet and have only strayed twice. Once when Adam was eating a cannoli...an OREO CANNOLI. I had to take a bite. It was just too tempting to say no. Needless to say I gained the next day. The second time I strayed was yesterday - Father's Day - when I was at my boyfriend's family's celebration and I was given a hard time about not eating. I thought just eating a little would be OK - it wasn't. I gained again.
I'm back at my house and hoping to keep on track the next 18 days so I can lose the full 20lbs during Phase 2 and get down to my end of Phase 2 goal of 125.
Phase 2 Weight update:
Day 1 - 144.8 (I gained 1.8lb during Loading days)
Day 2 - 140.8lb (I was ECSTATIC!! I could not believe I was 4lb down after 1 day!)
Day 3 - 139.6lb
Day 4 - 137lb
Day 5 - 134.6lb
Day 6 - 135.2 (WHY OH WHY did I eat the stupid cannoli bite???? ugh!!! I am so angry at myself)
Day 7 - 133.4lb (Whoop WHoop down again!!)
Day 8 - 135lb
Lessons Learned I need to remember not to let others influence me about eating. I shouldn't have let them make me feel bad about not eating anything and stayed true to myself and had my nutritious foods when I went home. Unfortunately I learned the hard way. Hopefully I can make up for it this week.
I tried to go to the gym today - I felt incredibly weak. They said I shouldn't do cardio and strength but I thought I would try. I ran on the treadmill for about 25 min and then tried to do strength but had to quit halfway through. I'm going to go back tomorrow and finish the strength and then try to do some cardio if I can but I don;t want to push myself too hard since I know that the low calorie diet means I shouldn't participate in strenuous exercise. But I know if I want to be tone I can't do NOTHING
Stat Update:
Total of 7.5 inches lost!
My BMI is now 23.9 - out of the overweight range and into the NORMAL range!! whoop whoop!!!!

I'm still at the high end of the range so hopefully I can lose another another 10lb to get me to my end of Phase 2 Goal Weight and down to a BMI of 22.1.
Overall I've had some setbacks but I'm proud of myself and I'm excited to continue to watch change happen!
Time to go fix my lunch for tomorrow!! Working hard to stay on track! :)

- Waist: 29 31 inches (-2inches!!)
- Hips: 38 40 inches (-2inches!!)
- Left Arm: 11.5 12 inches (-.5inches!!)
- Right Arm: 11.5 12 inches (-.5inches!!)
- Left Thigh: 22.5 23.5 inches (-1inch!!)
- Right Thigh: 22.5 23.5 inches(-1inch!!)
